WELCOME
The annual event of far-sighted decision makers in the AI & automation era

Human Friendly Automation (HFA) Day is the annual event of the cross-industry HFA Alliance. It is aimed at decision-makers who see artificial intelligence and automation not only in technical terms, but also as a renewal of the entire organization and shape it in the interests of people, based on the HFA Values Charter

Hosted in the first year by IBM Deutschland, in the second year by the German Federal Employment Agency and in the third year at the German Pension Insurance Federation (DRV Bund), this year RWE AG is pleased to host the fourth HFA Day.

Human Friendly Automation Day: Where everyone learns from each other

RWE focuses on digitalization. Numerous state-of-the-art technologies are being used. These include AI-based applications as well as applications from the field of robotics. RWE AG's Board member Katja van Doren was already a guest at the 2nd HFA Day at the Federal Employment Agency. She is an HFA promoter and has given a groundbreaking interview in the book “Human Friendly Automation”. The human-friendly design of the era of intelligent bots is a matter close to her heart. Values are very important to her.

The HFA Alliance is therefore particularly pleased that RWE not only lives Human Friendly Automation, but is also prepared to host HFA Day 2024. This should be seen as a strong message not only to the outside world, but also to the workforce:

RWE is doing HFA and is serious about it!

Katja van Doren, Member of the Management Board, Chief Human Resources and IT Officer at RWE AG

How are members of management boards approaching the era of GenAI and digital automation? What do specific AI and robotics projects look like and how do they work? But what impact does this actually have on work and people? What changes to health will result from the interaction between employees and AI tools in everyday life? And what do managers actually need to be able to do in order to apply human friendliness in their teams?

All this and much more will be discussed and presented by the many decision-makers and experts on October 1st. in Essen.
